| History | Dating back to 2002, John (lead singer) for the JOHN MAXFIELD BAND, released his first solo work “Beautiful Vs.” In 2004, John and Eddie (drummer) began jamming together – still to this day; it was not until about a year ago that Derek (bassist) joined the trio. This band has played at the majority of venues in the St. Louis area such as Cicero’s , Vintage Vinyl, and The Pageant; they also play outside of the St. Louis area including Columbia & Kansas City and even in New York. |

Keeping the crowd amped up, the lead singer, John, talks to the audience between songs, either with jokes or a small background on the next piece they will play. All three of the band members complimented the others’ sound in a manner that kept the environment energized and upbeat. The crowd gradually grew larger as their performance went on, dragging in passer-bys from the street in front of the record shop. The audience bobbed their head with the beat and about a fourth of the group seemed to have already been familiar with the sound of the JOHN MAXFIELD BAND.
