The City Museum of St. Louis is one of the most renowned attractions, definitely worth a visit. The museum is housed in the 600,000 square-foot former International Shoe Company, and is, in their own words, “An eclectic mixture of children’s playground, funhouse, surrealistic pavilion, and architectural marvel made out of unique, foundobjects. Admission fees are very reasonable, and there is also the opportunity to gain a membership, to which all plans include unlimited visits in January and September for up to five people per day, 10% discount in Museum Gift Shop, 10% discount on classes atCity Museum Glass Studio, admission to members-only events, and 10% discount oneveryday circus classes.
They are always offering new attractions, and as of today a few of the most popular includes the Enchanted Caves, MonstroCity, World Aquarium and Toddler Town. There is also Art City, where you are able to create your own work of art, or take a step back and watch the professionals do it. They will demonstrate their craft right in front of your eyes and demonstrate turning molten glass into unique and beautiful sculptures.
