Rue 13 is the club where hipsters go to hang Monday through Saturday until 3am on glitzy Washington Avenue. Unlike most of the other Washington Avenue nightclubs, Rue 13 doesn't have dress codes or high cover charges. The down-to-earth staff, patio service and themed club nights have helped make this a very popular destination in St. Louis.
The club itself is spacious; part dance floor, part bar and comfy lounge area, and part pool room. Reasonably priced sushi is served up late, and there are cheap drink specials almost every night of the week. Wednesday nights host the Dollar Bin where you can imbibe $1 infused sakes or PBRs. On Vice Thursdays, you can dance to electro while sipping your beer you got for $1 off. Fridays are arguably the most popular theme night with That 80s Club, a night full of videos on the big screens from such favorites as The Cure, Madonna and The Clash. Those looking for something a bit more tantalizing will want to check out the burlesque show on Saturday nights performed by The Alley Cat Revue.
