Ten 14 looks really good on their website, they talk about how if you don't follow the dress code, you won't get in, and how their club is so nice and classy, but when we got there, there were girls in shorts and jeans. When we first got there, it smelled really bad, and we realized that it was because there was literally a pile of poop, yes, human feces, in the middle of the dance floor. They tried to tell us that someone must have drug it in on their shoes, but it was seriously a pile. People don't drag in piles of other people's poop. My friend stepped in the poop pile and it was disgusting. We tried to stick it out, so we danced for a while. When we got tired, we went over to the bar area to sit down, and while we were sitting there, the bartenders sprayed us with water to get us to leave. Their bathrooms were disgusting, and the entrance to the bathrooms didn't have doors, so you could just walk past and see some guy peeing in the urinal. Their music choices were not that great, and the guy doing the announcing was really annoying, he kept trying to sing with the songs, and it sounded bad. All in all, I was really disappointed with the entire establishment.

Some clubs are worth waiting in line for, others, you should just draw a line through on your weekend list and save yourself the time. Whether it's the ridiculous entry prices or the alcohol soaked dance floor - caution: clubber beware! Ten14 used to be a popular club for newly turned 18 year olds but I'm not even sure its semi-decent anymore. Girls can expect to have a somewhat good time, and guys can expect to have a hole burnt in their pocket by the end of the night, as they seem to charge guys more for entry. If you are with a group of friends, a good time can be had simply because of the company kept, however, this really is not a great place to take a date or to seek a ‘hook up'. I only go because I get in free with their "password", but each time I go I feel like I'm clubbing myself on the head (and I don't seem to learn my lesson). Yes, this place DOES bring a whole new definition to clubbing. The music is repetitive, the bar service is crappy, the dance floor is too small (and slippery!), the prices are not worth it. Waiting in line should be something you don't mind doing to get into your favorite night club, not have it just be another inconvenience. (*This is located at 1014 Locust St., hence the name, how original)
