Did anyone go to the Taste of St. Louis last weekend?Posted by: Krissy on Sep 30, 2008   |

I actually went to the taste twice over the weekend, it was just that good. My favorite by far was Joseph's downtown. They had a gnocchi that was to die for, with a chipotle cream sauce and Italian sausage. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a new restaurant to go there. I was also impressed by all the restaurants that were from Lumiere Place, I would have never thought to go eat there. But the Burger Bar and The House of Savoy both were wonderful! I had really hoped there would be more of the Washington Avenue restaurants down there, but overall it was pretty good and a lot of people showed up to taste.

Unfortunately, I did not make it out to the "Taste"... I have been to Burger Bar, and it is DELICIOUS!!! I don't remember what the burger was called, but it was the next one down from the Kobe Beef, and it was the best and juiciest burger I think i have ever had!

I went on Sunday. Unfortunately I am actually sticking to a diet this time around and, for once, had enough self control not to sample! *gasp* I know! The real bummer is, though, that I didn't get to try any of the food, even though it all smelled so wonderful...the ones NOT besides the nasty over-flowing trash cans, that is.
