Cupcakes and Clownvis, sugar and sinners, Ice Queen's and Candy Girls, pastries and pasty's, this is the kind of Christmas party St Louis's Lola Van Ella likes to throw. With a packed crowd at Off Broadway right before Christmas Lola Van Ella hosted the Sugar and Spice, Naughty and Nice burlesque showcase, a show packed full of the areas best burlesque acts along with a few special guests.

The Trip Daddies, one of the rockinist live acts St Louis has to offer.

I have only lived in the city for a couple of months and in my tenure here I have been lucky enough to see many live acts, some amazing ones and some not so much but one of my favorite offerings this city has is the Trip Daddies. Born and raised St Louis Rockabilly this band has a powerful stage presence, a slick style and the knowledge and experience to know how to rock a crowd.

Arts and Crafts usually invoke image's  of leather wallets and macaroni pictures. This is not the case at Mad Art gallery.  Mad Art is one of the biggest galleries in St. Louis,  located in an old police station they host a yearly weekend long exibition of local artist's, creators and performers called The Big Ass craft show. The event showcases over fifty local artist's and their various creations involving everything from clothes, jewelry and home goods to beautiful paintings and sculptures.  All of them priced very reasonably and the opportunity to buy directly from the artist make the purchases a lot more justifiable.
