TEQUILA’S -Authentic Tex Mex Cuisine. Whether you are looking for some happy hour specials or some rice and beans, Tequila has got you covered. Similar to that of El Maguey’s, Tequila has several locations within or near the greater St. Louis – 8 in fact. Tequila is popular for its $5 lunch menu and great drink specials, such as $5 Margarita pitchers on Wednesday nights (Baumgartner location). As always, promotions do vary depending on location and most promotions per location are advertised at each individual restaurant as opposed to the main website.* The food was great, made fresh and accurately, service was courteous and the bill…well, it was about what one would expect for your average Mexican food joint.

Like most neighborhood bars, SuWallers became known to me through word of mouth. Located on North Warson Road, SuWallers is a biker bar of sorts, however, everyone seems welcomed. From lunch specials to happy hour appetizers, their menu consists of delicious options such as a roast beef and ham sandwich, burgers, and more. You can even call in an order, or drop by during happy hour for $3.00 bottles and other drink specials.

This review is for the Burger Bar within the Lumiere Place, located just before you get carded for your age. I had heard good things about this place so I gave it a try. Basically this is a joint that serves you any kind of burger, aside from "ham", you can choose variations of "ham" (such as angus, kobe, etc.), chicken or salmon. You get to choose the type of bun and whatever toppings you want for individually selected prices. For 2 people here is what we ordered: 1 corn-fed cow meat burger (forgot their name of it), with a ciabatta bun, pepper jack cheese and bacon. It came with lettuce, tomato, regular red onion slices and pickle spear. We also got an angus burger with a ciabatta bun, cheddar and bacon and for the side: skinny fries and onion rings. To drink: 1 water, 1 iced tea. Total bill was over $30. The burger quality itself was better than that of your local Applebees, however, the fries, onion rings and toppings probably were distributed by the same folks that ship Applebee's food. Its nice if you do not expect anything classy but I cannot say it was worth the price. We could have gone to Applebees and done the 2 for $20 and had the same thing for less.

Awesome small bbq grill and bar. The decor makes you question the food quality (very dull decorations and seating) however, rest assured - you're money is well spent here. For $27 two people can have a full dinner, a beer, and split an appetizer. The food comes out relatively fast and is fresh. Servers are friendly and knowledgable about menu items and specials. One of the best bbq joints I've been to so far. Rotating specials include discounts on their 24 ounce chicken kabobs and whole slabs of ribs. Go hungry, leave happy and with left-overs...and with some cash still in your pocket.

Homely neighborhood bar atmosphere, great on Tuesday/Thursday nights whenever they offer $1 burger specials. This lets you spend more of your money on drinks and still get your dinner at the same joint. Servers/bar tenders are friendly and take the time to get to know regulars. Outdoor seating available when the weather is nice. Some pinball games available as well a cigarette pack dispenser (yes, you can smoke).

Festive doesn't even begin to describe the decor inside this colorful mexican joint; sombreros and decorations adorn the walls, lamps and even the seats are very decorative! The staff is extremely friendly and service is fast. Best part is the $5.99 lunch buffet: make your own burritos, tacos, and taco salads. Its a lot fresher (and healthier) than eating at Taco Bell for almost the same price!

The atmosphere here is very similar to that of Longhorn and Applebees, just with slight variations here and there. The service was poor, felt like me and my dining partner were being ignored the whole time. She asked for her meal a certain way, of course, it came without her special request. The waiter 'assumed' we were not going to order anything and made us wait 20 minutes prior to taking our order. Our complimentary bread was given to us 2 minutes before our dinner showed up. We were not offered any drink specials nor were we asked if we wanted dessert. We had to ASK for napkins and utensils, when he did not voluntarily given them to us after we received our food. The food was honestly not worth the price and the food was so-so. It was not worth the amount of money I spent. (I was so ticked off by the experience, I wrote them a personal letter)

Cicero's is a restaurant with a pool table, a few video arcade games and a room designed solely for concerts. The food is good and decently priced, alcohol costs are about average, and cover charge is only applied if you wish to enter the concert room. Cover charge varies per group, as well does the music variety - from more mellow (think Sublime) to more headbanging (think Children of Bodom). The concert room is fairly small with limited seating but it does include a bar and an awesome sound system.

Upstairs and downstairs country club; relatively large dance floor. Friday nights offer $1 bottled beers and the THONG-A-THON contest. Shots and other drinks are pretty cheap. Beer discounts/specials through out the week. Smoking allowed in a special area only. Live music, typically it is the Rocking Horse playing Friday nights. Last known, cover charge was $6 for those 21+ and $8 for those 18+. **They will have you scanned with a metal detector for knives or other objects so leave them at home.

Free during the weekdays unless its a special event. Free buckets of beer the first monday of every month if it is the month of your birthday. Relaxed atmosphere, relatively cheap drinks, smoking allowed, pool table, darts and food available. Dance stage could be larger, other than that, great place for a fun night out.

Fairly classy for a strip club - all women dancers. They will do a special lap dance if you are a bachelor having a bachelor party (you have to sit on your hands the whole time and keep your tongue in your mouth, that's the rules!). There are multiple stages which viewers can sit around and there is also a back section for a less-intrusive atmosphere. The strippers like to walk out onto the floor through out the evening. Cover charge is $10/person, ATM inside if needed as they only take cash.

Relatively small, quaint pub & grill lodged next to the Wildwood Meramec Community College Campus and the Wildwood YMCA. New furnishings add to a pleasant, laid-back atmosphere, friendly staff. Food is decent for the price. Large flat screens through out pub so sports fans do not miss their game.

I used to work at this theatre and I can say that it is one of the best operating ones in the area. Theatres are kept fairly clean as well as the appearance of the concession stand. Two biggest complaints are the games in the upstairs game room that either don't work half the time or that will not give you tickets along with concession prices. Concession prices (and Fred's Drive In) are pretty much standard with all the Wehrenberg theatres in this area. Oh, and don't eat the butter on the popcorn, they store that in jugs under the counter over night and re-heat it the next day. They also give the morning go-ers the popcorn left over from the previous night. Ewwww.

I adore this restaurant simply for the honey dough BLT pizza and their avocado rolls (although those things get consumed so fast and cost so much). This location is always crowded in the evenings and weekends and even sometimes during the day. Sometimes its so loud you cannot hear the person you are dining with. On the flip side, service has always been good and I have never been disappointed with anything I've tried. Great place to meet up with friends.

Small mom and pop owned pizza parlor, possibly can seat about 40 people. Alcohol, salads and appetizers available as well. The pizza is so good and so filling that 2 adults have a hard time finishing a medium! Not to mention that their salads are yummy as well! The waiters/waitresses wait on you just enough but not too much to where it becomes obnoxious hovering. Pizza comes out relatively fast and steaming hot!

"Eat Rite or Don't Eat at All"
This is the slogan of the popular quaint diner located at 5513 S. Lindbergh Blvd.. During the day this small 2-man operated sit down joint is carefree and relaxed – at night, once the drunks come out, this place is hustling and bustling.. The prices are cheap ($2.75 for a Steak N Shake sized burger) and decent (better than SNS). Just try to get there before 2am on the weekends because the place fills up fast!
| The Good | they are open 24/7! |
| The Bad | there is no alcohol |
| Overall: | 2.0 |
Built atop the St. Louis River front, this casino is more interesting on the outside than within its walls. Unfortunately since the Lumiere Place purchased it, it appears that they put all the bad games in this vessel. They also left about 5 tables – not much to work with. There is no longer an upstairs for the average gambler; it has become a very pathetic VIP lounge. When I say pathetic I mean that it is some old chairs and cafeteria tables with about 10 slots roped off. You’d feel more like VIP gambling on the first floor. After a few minutes, you’ll want to leave and walk up the hill to Lumiere Place – I guess that’s how they want it.
| The Good | Cheap, watered down alcohol; small crowd |
| The Bad | Dingy bathrooms, lame games, lack of tables, watered down alcohol |
| Overall: | 4.0 |
Located within walking distance from the river, the Lumier Place offers class, drinks, burgers and plenty of options for your gambling needs. The tables are hopping, the slots actually do pay out (not much, but enough to keep you hopeful!), and the staff seem very attentive to your needs.
| The Good | Clean, stocked bathrooms; small pay outs but plenty of them! |
| The Bad | Alcohol is pricey ($9 for a Martini!) |

Some clubs are worth waiting in line for, others, you should just draw a line through on your weekend list and save yourself the time. Whether it's the ridiculous entry prices or the alcohol soaked dance floor - caution: clubber beware! Ten14 used to be a popular club for newly turned 18 year olds but I'm not even sure its semi-decent anymore. Girls can expect to have a somewhat good time, and guys can expect to have a hole burnt in their pocket by the end of the night, as they seem to charge guys more for entry. If you are with a group of friends, a good time can be had simply because of the company kept, however, this really is not a great place to take a date or to seek a ‘hook up'. I only go because I get in free with their "password", but each time I go I feel like I'm clubbing myself on the head (and I don't seem to learn my lesson). Yes, this place DOES bring a whole new definition to clubbing. The music is repetitive, the bar service is crappy, the dance floor is too small (and slippery!), the prices are not worth it. Waiting in line should be something you don't mind doing to get into your favorite night club, not have it just be another inconvenience. (*This is located at 1014 Locust St., hence the name, how original)
